My twelve year old dryer won't heat, as of two days ago. The drum turns, air comes out the vent - but no heat. I checked the continuity on the Ignitor, and my meter read 1000 Ohmns so I guess the Ignitor is bad. I started to unplug the Flame Sensor to check it, but I can't figure this one out. Is it possible to have a bad Sensor as well as a bad Ignitor?

Thanks, SusieE

The igniter is probably bad. I do not think the flame sensor is bad too. You can find all instructions in the Service manual.
