I had a repair man come to my home to look at my oven. The temp would not go above 200. He looked at it and told me it was the clock. I got on the internet and found the clock. The stove is still doing it. Ican not return the clock even though it was the wrong part. So now I am out $200.00. I still have a stove that won't go over 200. My husband and I are thinking it is the oven sensor. I can't find any one who will help me. It is not the elements I have tested them I have the mark on my finger tips. Any one who can help would be greatly apperciated. My stove is only two years old. Help plz!!!!! Plz let me know if it is the oven sensor!!!

The first thing I would do is remove the bake heating element and check for burned out wires.

If there is nothing wrong, then remove one of the wires from the heating element and check for 120V between each wire and the ground, and 240V across both wires.

Post your findings.

Good luck and Happy New year.

Gene.
