I just installed a new main board (#WR55X10656) because neither the refigerator or freezer was getting cold. The freezer is working fine now but the refrigerator side is still not getting cold. Did I need to cut any of the wires while installing the new board or is there something else wrong? It was an appliance tech who checked out the fridge and said it was the board causing the problem.

The fridge gets its cold air from the freezer through a vent between the freezer and fridge. The fan in the freezer blows air through it. There is a flap you adjust with the fridge temp. control. Make sure it's open.

If the evaporator coils behind the back panel of the freezer are icing up because of auto defrost failure that will stop the circulation of cold air and eventually affect the freezer too.
