I need to replace the blower in my GE Harmony Dryer. After removing the front cabinet panel, I can only access the front of the blower assembly. Access to the rest of the blower is interfered with by the drying drum on top and the left cabinet side panel. Does anyone know how to remove the blower? Also, is there a web link for the purchase of a service manual? Thanks!

The way to remove/separate the spinner from the blower motor is that, if you'll notice, there's a flat notch on the back of the blower motor shaft. You have to put a crescent wrench or some sort of adjustable wrench on the backend of that shaft to keep it from spinning. Now, the other thing that you may not be aware of is that in order to remove the nut for the spinner/blower cage, you have to turn the wrong way. Yes, you heard me right, the opposite direction. I know we were taught, righty tighty, lefty loosey. Not in this case, the nut is removed in the opposite direction.
