Freezer is cold, refrigerator is not. Defrosted the evaporator coils, thought the fridge would work ok until the coils iced again (parts on order) Fridge dropped to just 40 overnight and could not stay cool once we started using it. Can feel some air moving from freezer to fridge, but the fan never speeds up as I would expect. Temperature settings for both fridge and freezer are cold. I have a new defrost heater and sensor ready to install, but what would appreciate any advice on what else may be going on. Thanks, Bill

If you are having a defrost problem it could be the defrost thermostat, the defrost heater and if those are OK it will be the defrost timer or in most newer models the motherboard, adaptive defrost control etc. Using your model number you can search for your defrost parts and see what you have.
on models that have them The motherboard also controls the fan speed so that may be the problem with your fan.
