Thanks for your replay Dan? Will the swithch work for any of the four burners? The bad one is the top on the right. How do I get to the swithch under the cool top? Please provide detailed instructions.

What switch are you referring to? :confused:

a switch to one burner whirlpool RS696PXGB0. It's releated to a previous posting. One of the four burner gets warm not hot, and other three work fine. Your dignose was bad switch. My question was how to replace it.

Once you get to the switch the wires can be transferred one by one from old to new so they don't get mixed up. The switch will either be held in place by two screws or a single pawlnut from the shaft side.
