Hello all I have a GE profile TPX24PR side by side and I am getting ice on the floor of the freezer looks like I have a drip from a grill on the back wall closer to the bottom of freezer. It is not the ice maker I shut off the water to that to see if it was my problem but it still happens. It takes about 10 days to get a half inch of ice on the floor. Is the evaporator behind the grill in the back? What else would cause this? Please help Thanks in advance Jeff

Sounds like you have a plugged up drain. Time to defrost the freezer and unclog the defrost drain line.

Your drain tube may be stopped up with ice at the upper end because it drains too slow because it's stopped up at the lower end in the evaporator pan under the unit at the floor. It can get dust and mold in it. Once you get the ice out at the top a little air pressure will usually clear it out. Flushing it out with hot water and clorox may help. Make sure it drains quick enough. The drain should be located below the evaporator coils on the lower back of the freezer.
