top loader, "heavy duity" version. unit has delevoped a leak that is most pronounced during hot/cold sequence. leak is much less during "warm/cold" cycle. how do i open the cabinet to check tightness of line connections? thank you for your time and assistance.

You should see two screws on the front panel at the bottom . Remove them, and the panel will swing out and away from the cabinet. The top is secured with a 3/8 inch hex drive screw at both corners just inside the cabinet. Before you lift up on the top, select the setting where the leak is more pronounced and begin to fill the machine. Use a flashlight to look inside the cabinet and locate the source of the leak. Report back with your finding and we'll further help you with the repair.
