how do i figure out what part of the defrost system is bad?? thermastat, timer or heater??? our refrigerator is warm freezer gets cold we cleared out the ice and vacuumed the vent but not sure how to figure out whats bad . frig got little cooler but noy like it used to be :confused:

Remove the freezer back panel and check the frost pattern on the coils, should be covered completely with a light frost.
If ok, measure the freezer temperature and post.
