I Replaced the Igniter now have 3.5 amps. The burner comes on then the igniter fades out and the burner flame goes out. With the oven set at 350 the preheat tone goes off with the oven at 225. With the oven set at 400 the preheat tone goes off with the oven at 300. Tried the temperature adjustment in the manual, did not change the oven temp by much. Which to try next Temp sensor or the controller? Before the igniter was replaced some times the oven would work fine other times it could not make or hold temp. Thanks

Quote:The burner comes on then the igniter fades out and the burner flame goes out. That sounds normal. Quote:oven set at 350 the preheat tone goes off with the oven at 225 Many newer ranges are programmed to stop preheat before the set temperature is reached. Manufacturer's claim a full preheat isn't needed (but might be partially to get better energy usage ratings?). I do not know how the control on your model is designed to act. Quote:Which to try next Temp sensor or the controller? What is the actual temperature in the oven when set to 350 (or whatever) once it has fully reached the highest temperature it will get to ( not just when the preheat signal goes off)? What temperature does the control display at that time? Quote:Model Number: ARG7102 That model number is incomplete and we'd also need the unit's manufacturing (MF G) number to properly identify the appliance in question. It starts with the letter "P..." and is on the same tag as the model and serial number. If you need further assistance please post that information as well. Full Model # ARG7102W P1143347NW I think it is normal for the oven to sound preheated before reaching the full set temp. But the oven use to be little low then contitinue to raise to temp. The oven use to reach full temp. now it never reaches full set temp. The oven temp is set by a knob and the display is only a clock the temps. I posted were from a oven thermometer being read through the window. THe oven reached 300 set at 350 and reached 375 set at 400 The controll unit has a temp adjust feature to fine tune the oven it does not seam to change anything. Thanks
