To start at the beginning, my oven made a popping sound and smoke came out of the back and the display flashed a F5 01 error. A technician replaced the electronic clock/timer and the stovetop now works (except for the warming burner) but the oven display panel still is inoperable so the oven will not turn on. The technician says that the electric control panel (part #5303935246) needs to be replaced. I was hoping it might just be the user interface board(97A) or the power board(97). I've already spent $350 and I don't think I will fix the range if it costs another $500. I would like to repair it myself if it is not the control panel. Can you help me determine which parts need to be replaced? Thanks for your help.
