To start at the beginning, my oven made a popping sound and smoke came out of the back and the display flashed a F5 01 error. A technician replaced the electronic clock/timer and the stovetop now works (except for the warming burner) but the oven display panel still is inoperable. The technician says that the electric control panel (part #5303935246) needs to be replaced (around $400). I was hoping it might just be the user interface board(97A) or the power board(97). I've already spent $350 and I don't think I'm going to continue if it cost another $500. I would like to repair it myself if it is not the control panel. Thanks for your help.

You mean the main control is not even lighting up or just the buttons are unresponsive?

That is just a control panel, there is nothing "electric" about it. If the control buttons are just unresponsive and the electronic control itself has been replaced, yes it might be the cause and need to be replaced.

Those are for the surface elements only and have nothing to do with the functioning of the oven or its controls.

All the buttons for the oven are unresponsive. The clock works although you cannot set the correct time. The display shows a PF error. Do you think I need to replace the control assembly panel(#19)?

If the control panel buttons are just unresponsive and the electronic control has already been replaced, yes either the control panel may be defective or it was not connected properly to the electronic control when that was installed. There shouldn't be anything else in the range that would account for that symptom.
