I have 2 KitchenAid dishwashers, one is an Imperial (Hobart) and the other KUDB220T1, both are experiencing the same problem....they drain on the rinse cycle like sonething is sticking open and they run dry. Looking to know how to fix the better of the 2 or scrap both and buy a new one. Thanks Guys for you time

Hi, Quote:they drain on the rinse cycle like sonething is sticking open and they run dry. Could have to do with the way the drain hose is installed. Maybe creating a siphon after the first wash water drains out. Make sure the drain hose is high enough and has some kind of air gap.

Make sure the drain hose is high enough and has some kind of air gap. So mine goes into the floor and down, this just started happening, so I think it's a valve or solinoid staying open or something.
