My side-by-side refrigerator is not cooling as well as it did a few weeks ago, and I noticed this past weekend that the outside surface of the wall betwen the freezer and refrigerator is hot, too hot to even keep your hand on it for even a couple of seconds. What is causing this to happen.

See if the condenser fan underneath at the compressor is running. It should run when the compressor is running. Take the cardboard backing off. You can place a box fan there to let it cool down while you replace the fan.
