dryer is running very hot and is over 10 years old. Have suggested replacing same but relative insists upon repair, if possible.
looking for possible problem. Vent & lint screen clean.

Remove the hose from the dryer, is there any air coming from the dryer? if not, check the BLOWER WHEEL!!!! If there is air, Replace the thermostat.:)
