i have just purchased and installed a kenmore convection oven. There were orifices for the stove top burners, that were changed from natural to lp gas. Now when turning on the oven the flames shoot way up at the sides of the oven. I told my son that i thought there was an adjustment for gas to air on the burner where the little screw is, is that correct or what are we doing wrong. We hadn't made any adjustments to the oven as of yet.

Than what are you doing turning it on?

Follow all the conversion instructions including adjusting the regulator, oven gas valve(s), and likely thermostat and burner air shutters as well and/or call a *licensed* gas appliance installer or service depot to perform the work for you.

You're just looking for trouble otherwise.
