I have a 1 year old Kenmore dishwasher. The keypad is push button which lights up for each choice. At first I could not switch between and different wash cycles, it just stayed on pots & pans and I could push the start button and it would go thou the wash cycle. Then it just stopped, so I tested the thermal fuse and it was fine. Then I purchased the control board and changed it out...shut the door, restored power and the washing light was on and the dishwasher was making noise like it was draining. It did this for a couple of minuets then stopped. I went to push the wash button and nothing happened...:confused:
