Had storms past few days. Now the freezer is cool but the fridge is warm. We had this problem once before and I am pretty sure it was the adaptive defrost control. Can anyone confirm that before I order the part? I know we also replaced the relay swtich on this applicance but I think that was for a different issue (although I can't remember what that issue was).

Different issue resolved here has pics of our fridge

If the evaporator coils behind the back panel of the freezer are icing up because of auto defrost failure

check , defrost heater, defrost thermostat>Refrigerator Repair Guide: How To Fix a Refrigerator - ACME HOW TO.com

If the heater and thermostat are ok it’ll be the adaptive defrost control.
