ok so error code is F70 we read many posts and reply's and ran diagnostics, came up with codes of af0 and af1 not in green manual inside machine. also we took it apart and looked for the grey cable referenced in many posts. we left alone for a while and error code f70 came back up. when powered on the lock un-unlock button works and if we press the power button it chirps 3 times. when running the diagnosics not much comes up but the two error codes and the machine does not run sequences like described.
please help.

That makes it hard, but being it will not run diagnostic correctly my money would be on a faulty control board.

We did a continuity check on all of the wires. 120 volts at ccu and the mcu, disconnected the m3 control wire at mcu unit all lights come on and washer starts and water pumps in the ui seems to be working fine when m3 wire is disconnected at the mcu. have checked all 4 circut boards and found no burn marks and contacts are clean. are there any other wires from the mcu to the motor? When the m3 is plugged back in at the mcu the control lights go out and the f70 and 71 messages will appear. the diagnostic codes still come up af0 and af1
Voltage at the m3 is 3v between 2&1
2v between 2&3
5 v between 1&3

Appliance Junk,
We have done some further diagnostics, does this help? do you still think it's the ccu? or does it seem now maybe the mcu?
Is there a tech sheet that says what voltages should be coming from each line?
