I came home yesterday to a burnt smell coming from my washer and the water not draining from the washer. I pulled all the clothes out of the washer, and tried to turn it on again. The washer spins ,not sure if it releases water into the tub, but it is not draining. It clicks right before the rinse cycle. I am trying to make sure that its not cheaper to buy a new one, then to fix it. Only thing I can think of is the pump being bad. I have tried to find videos for the repair also. Any help would be appreciated.

This is a Frigidaire made model sold under the GE label. Take off the front cover by removing the two screws at the bottom and swing the front panel off.
The pump is electric, and it might be that something is just stuck in there. That happens frequently on these models.
