We've got an ice maker that stopped working. It's rocker switch will click to the OFF position just fine, but when you attempt to move it to the ON position...it bounces back to the middle so that it's in neither position. Sometimes when I attempt to change it to the on position, I'll see a flash of light behind the switch as if a short or spark has occurred. If I hold the button down, the icemaker fingers do rotate. Any suggestions?

thanks!

Try to bypass the switch to see if it works then. If it does, replace the switch. Your part is 67 on diagram 7. >Replacement parts for FRG GLHS268ZDW2 | AppliancePartsPros.com
