Electrolux Dishwasher Model EIDW6105GS1A ----Question: Should the drain valve allow water to pass through it with no power to the drain valve? (Problem experiencing is water remaining in dw at end of wash....there are NO blockages anywhere....and drain pump does run and does pump) Thanks

Add to my orig. question---My thought on this is: When the drain pump shuts off, the water that is still in the line between the drain pump and the air gap is running back through the drain valve and pump into the dishwasher.....would that be normal? Or, should the drain valve prevent the water remaining in the line when the pump shuts off, from draining back into the dishwasher?
