question 1.) I am trying to repair my turn-table on my GE microwave (model JVM1851WD002). I believe I need to replace the Synchronous Motor (ST-16FE(EX73SAAAA3). Can anyone help me confirm that this is the only item I need to troubleshoot? The wiring harness seems fine, so my little to no knowledge of microwave repair points me back to the Sync Motor?

question 2.) Also, I would like to replace Light fixture adaptor that holds the 75W microwave light bulb. I broke it trying to remove a broken light bulb.

To replace the TT motor, disconnect the power to the microwave. Remove the perimeter screws from the underside panel.(this is where your filters are) There are screws in front and on both sides. Let the panel hang. On the inside, remove the tray and coupler. Now remove the TT motor screws and disconnect the wires. Re-install the motor, screws and coupler now. The motor pt. # is AP2024962 Hope this helps....wrench:)
