We recently bought a used GE Arctica Profile, and it took quite a while to cool down to 37F, practically overnight. My first thought was that it was broke during the move, then I considered that maybe because it was on it's side overnight during the move that the refrigerant system needed time to adjust. My final thought is that maybe due to it's high efficiency that it takes longer to get to 37F, but once there it uses less energy to stay there. Any ideas?

Also, what's the little 3-pin connector that has a mating junction down in the front lower corner of the fridge? It was disconnected and I reconnected it and now the light at the water dispenser stays on (until I unscrewed the light bulb) - note the water line is not connected to a water source.

Thanks, Vince

The owners manual usually recommends 24 hrs to cool down a refrig section. If you are at temp now, no worries. The connector is (obviously) for the light on the dispenser. Somebody unplugged it because they didn't want the light on 24/7. There is a switch for that light near the dispenser to turn off or on. Maybe the switch is stuck and this is why the connector was apart
