I just defrosted my freezer which has been working perfectly. The defroster unit I used melted the freezer liner on one side and warped the trays in the door. The door closes fine and the gasket seems tight. Is it safe to still use the freezer? I haven't plugged it in again for fear of freon leaking, etc.
Thanks!

Go ahead and run it. The heat won't cause the freon to leak. And if it did it' gone now.
