Came home from Church this afternoon to find the contents of my freezer to be mostly thawed. Checked the fridge side and found the same conditions. Pulled fridge from wall and opened the access panels on the rear, after unplugging the appliance. I found the coils around the condenser assembly to be caked with dust, so I removed as much as I could reach. The fan on the condenser spins normally when the appliance is plugged in. I felt the compressor and it feels pretty warm. I also reseated all connections on the main circuit board. After plugging the appliance back in, I noticed that the fan in the freezer is now working but doesn't seem to be blowing very cold air and the fridge does not appear to be cooling down. Help! I have 30lbs of good deer meat to save, among other stuff.

I assume the evaporator coils are the cylindrical cage that has the cooling fan attached. If I am looking a the correct part, it was caked in dust. I removed as much dust as I could get to. Also, the compressor feels very warm and the internal air circulation fan does not run wen the doors are closed. After reseating the connection on the main board, the internal cooling fan began to run but failed to cool either the fridge portion or the freezer portion. Now, today, the fan has gone back to not running any more. I think this may have something to do with the main ckt board assy.
