Hi,
Our dishwasher works but makes a lot of noise. We had a Sears repair person diagnose it and he says we need a new motor. I am thinking about buying the pre-assembled pump & motor and replacing it myself. It looks like I can do this without having to pull the unit out from under the kitchen counter. Can someone tell me if this is possible and what the level of difficulty is? Should I just buy the motor? We would replace the unit except that it has a wood panel on the front that matches the rest of the wood in our kitchen. This wood piece will not fit on newer dishwashers.
Thanks,
Bob

Our dishwasher isn't working either. The repair folks told us that we needed a new motor. Did you end up replacing yours? How difficult was it? Any advice?
