I have a Frigidaire refrigerator with a defrost issue. Heavy frost on back wall in freezer, tested the defrost heater and it was good. I was told the defrost timer is incorporated in the main power board, is this correct? Please help.

Did you check the defrost thermostat?

The defrost controls by the main power board (#50 on the diagram).
