I am trying to install a heating element but the replacement parts have a different set up. The insulator on the original element has 2 electric connections and the replacement part has only one. One of the clips on the wires has broken also. how to connect the part.

Well, this doesn't sound right. You have to have two connections on the new element.

Here is the service manual, should give you all the answers.

Let us know what you find out, particularly if you got the wrong part.
