We had a power outage last night and now neither the freezer nor refrigerator are cooling. Lights are fan are working. Compressor clicks on and then off again after about 10 seconds, repeats this after a few minutes. I've learned it could be a bad capacitor, or start relay. Or is that the same thing?

Thank you for any help!

Linda

They're not the same thing and I would check the starter relay. Part 56 on diagram 11. Here's how to check>Refrigerator Repair Guide: How To Test the Compressor Relay - ACME HOW TO.com
