Hello all...
I have a Kenmore 70 Series Model 110 dryer. Initially the issue was thought to be that we just had no heat with the dryer. So after researching I ohm'd everything out and found I couldn't get continuity through the thermal cut-off. So I ordered part #AP3094244 from the site and replaced it tonight. However, instead of buttoning everything up I decided to run a test first to check to make sure the heater coil kicked on and off and the timer worked. Well... everything seemed to worked including the timer advancing, however when it got towards the end of the cycle and nothing no buzzer or anything.... it just kept going. Obviously I'm guessing it's a timer issue, but, is it actually caused by the timer it's self or something else? Is it safe to run the dryer to dry clothes if we time it with say the timer on the stove until I get the part in?
Thank you for any help.

I have same issue, The dryer timer keeps running after it hits the stop mode the timer keeps running and starts up in the next cycle. The start button on the dryer doesn't have to be pushed. You open the dryer door and the dryer stops but when you shut it it starts back up again. I have replaced the timer with same results. Is there a relay? or contact that is not tripping out? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!
