Hi, I read some of the other replacement threads, didn't see help for my problem.

I ordered the bellow W10111435, for my WFW8500SR01. I tried putting it on, used soap, every time I get it completely around the rim, there is about 1 inch too much to squeeze onto the rim. I checked the old boot seal and it is larger than the new one. This washer has no hose to plug in or notch to clip at the top. Not sure what I am doing wrong, I have called the service technician to put it in unless I can find out how to do it. I have seen videos and read manuals,it seems to be easier than what I am going through. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

That does seem to be the right part for that model. These things are incredibly difficult to put in, and I almost always need a helper.
