our Ge Dishwasher Is Not Cleaning The Dishes Well, And Spots On The Glasses,took The Tub Arm Apart Cleaned It,reinstalled It Took Everything On Bottom Of Tub That Can Be Cleaned And Did So,ran Dishwasher And Opened Door Latch And Arm Was Spinning Very Slow Goodwater Prusser But Arm Spun Slowley Could This Be My Problem And What Can I Do To Fix It///:(

Here are your parts. Replacement parts for General Electric GSD2800G01 Dishwasher | AppliancePartsPros.comI am assuming you opened up the sump and checked /cleaned in there. It could be a low fill. Often besides poor cleaning you will ofeten have a noisy pump as it is sucking in air. Let the unit fill then open the door to check the water level. Most units fill to just under the heating element. You can check the fill by adding a couple quarts of hot water after each fill in a cycle. If it now cleans OK then you have a low fill problem. Just be careful to not overfill the unit. The most common cause is a dirty screen filter on the input side of the fill valve. Remove the valve from the unit and clean/check the filter. Do not permanently remove it from the valve as it is there to keep crud out of the valve which could hold it open and cause a flood. If it still does not fill correctly I would replace the fill valve. PS: Be sure to shut off the power and the water supply to the unit. Have paper towels etc. handy to wipe up any spilled water. Get a small pan/bowl etc. that will fit under the valve then loosen the input water line let it drip into the container emptying it as necessary. This will minimize the amount of water spilled. |

Thank you have allready done that still have problems opened the door while in cycle the water wasnet even comming up to the top rack and no water comming out of the top atm bottom retoates very slow :( :mad: :eek:

Thanks for the help but opened the door while in cycle and noticed that the water from the lower arm was not reaching the top rack, and no water at all comming out of the top arm cleaned top arm and still no water,and bottom arm turns very slow, think the fill is app 20.00 but a fair amount of work waiting for your post

Sorry but I do not understand the above.
You may have to take the unit apart to finf out what is causing the low water flow from the pump.
Did you check the valve (Item 557 in Section 3). If it is shot and does not close during a wash cycle water spurts out this hole into the tub instead of going up into the spray arms. |
