my dryer is getting to hot ,clothes getting caught, now making loud noise.
Please help if you can. thanks kj

Hi Kej

I think you have two problems.

1. Your tub is working loose from the rear bearing. You will need to open up the top and front of the dryer and remove the tub and probably replace the rear bearing.

2. Excess heat is probably coming from either
a. A grounded element which does not shut off
b. A bad thermostat which you should replace as a matter of course.
c. Clogged vent system. Use the opportunity when you take out the drum to thoroughly clean out the dryer, particularly the blower and vent system.
d. Blower is not operating correctly, you can check when you take apart the dyrer.
