I have a new timer . the cables are all connected except the tan. The old timer has a jumper from one terminal to the next The new timer does nto have the same terminals parts # for the timer is 3397273

Timer is Item 21 in Section 2 when I look up the part number you provided I do come up with the same AppliancePartsPro number AP2973903.

Perhaps you have the wrong timer.
Without more info on the connection designations etc. of the new timer you have cannot be of much help.

Hopefully someone else has seen this problem and will respond!!!
