I cannot find a coupling for this kitchen aid blender

Model ksb5gr4

serial # wr3701500

Its not the screw on type. Please help.

Hello Dougrok. According to kitchen Aid, AP2930430 is the correct drive coupling and does screw off the unit. Below is a video on how this can be done. Hope this helps.

Dougrok,
Did you get anywhwere with this. I have the same problem, even took the same picture. I ordered the suggested part anyway, but I don't think it will work.
Let me know if you found a solution.

Well, turns out they are telling you the right part. You won't get the old one off like they do in the video, though.
You have to get a pair of thin pliers or a thin wrench on the shaft under the old part to stop it from turning. Then use a pliers to loosen that piece left over from the old part. Turn it clockwise to loosen. When it comes off, you will see the shaft is threaded, and the new part spins right on.
It took me 2 weeks to find a wrench thin enough to grab the motor shaft.
