I have a 10 year old Frigidaire freezer we keep in the garage. Came out yeasterday and smelled a distinct odor (sweet but burning). Went over to freezer and everything still cold but could see a little smoke from compressor area and coming from relay area (side of compressor). Is this the relay and how likely is it that if you change this that it will work again? Is it worth trying this or w/ the freezer being 10 yrs old would you buy a new one?
