On the control panel, it shows the timer or counter for how long the dryer time is. When I hit start the counter is at 1:11, it then starts to count down 10-9-8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1-59-58 but the machine does not start. It starts counting backwards like a time clock,or some type of track and field clock. What is wrong and what part do you recommend I replace? S# 14079881GJ

It is difficult to say, with electronic display/control units it is very hard to diagnose. I suggest you use the service manual trouble shooting sections and diagnostic codes, http://www.servicematters.com/m...ibrary/docs/16022785.pdfto see if you can narrow the problem. Regardless of anything the manual says, you are also going to want to check the thermostats, thermal fuses and other electrical items for continuity. Good luck and tell us what you find out.
