Having a problem with the oven not heating (broiler element works) but the fan runs constantly.
If I replace the relay board should that fix the problem OR do you think this is a thermostat problem (high limit).

Quote:should the relay board fix the problem That is difficult to say without some actual testing but both the element and fan look to be powered directly off it so a malfunction in it is possible. LINK > A6898VRV Relay BoardHas anyone tested the element to see if it isn't just burnt out? (I don't think its failure would cause the fan to run continuously though.) LINK > How do I test an electric stove element?Quote:do you think this is a (high limit) thermostat problem. That might cause the fan to run but if it was designed to stop the bake element from operating, I would think it should also stop the broil as well so that seems less likely to be the cause of all of your symptoms.
