I'm having a huge issue with my dryer!!! First of all it won't run... I've checked the breaker and it's ok. When I try to turn it on you can tell it's trying to run.... I made the mistake of having it set for 30 minutes and closed the door (it wasn't running or making a sound) and walked away from it... TWO days later, I go down there and the top was HOT!!! It was still trying to run and the timer didn't move? Any ideas? I did notince a squeeking sound last week when it was running. PLEASE HELP!!! I'm running out of room to put my wet clothes!! LOL!!

What exactly is the model number: DG or DE? What is the rest of the model number?

It's a DE/400.... I think it might be done... I pulled it out and there's a brown hot spot on the back. I'm going to tear it apart tonight. I hope the motor isn't fried!
