Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 7/20/2008(UTC) Posts: 4		We had an electrical storm last night now my microwave doesnt turn on and the display is wavy and hard to see...the fan and lights work ..ther is a faint buzzing noise coming from behind display..what could it be?

If it would not work, then most likely the control board gone bad. - The part number for the control board is AP3693251 Gene.

The buzzer, I believe, is a part of the control panel assembly which cost close to $400. I do not think that "beep" is worth it. Gene.

Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 7/20/2008(UTC) Posts: 4		I put the old board back on and the beeper now works so the new board must be defective. I'm going to get it exchanged and that should fix the problem...f.y.i. the beeper is on the control board.
