Hi my oven just recently started taking about a half hour to heat up. I took the top heating element to the repair shop to be tested and they said it was good, but they were not allowed to offer any other advice... Help, any idease appreciated to save some $. Thanks!

A Model Number may help others help you.

Also add info:
On preheat do both elements come on?
What color are they when hot?
Does the unit run OK once it reaches the preset temperature?
Does everything else seem normal?

On bake or on broil or on convection??

If the oven is not heating properly on a bake setting, it is the lower oven element that is responsible for most heating and would usually be the one that needed scrutiny.

How do I test an electric stove element?
