my Hotpoint dishwasher dosen't spray on the top, leaving my dishes dirty on the outside. i found a green wire hanging out the door, could this be my problem? the green wire is attached to the motor, then attaches to the frame then there's a long piece with a end on it, that looks like it's supose to attach somewhere but i can't see where...could this be my problem?...and does anyone know where the green wire goes? ...could it be a weak warer pump?

Did you hear the pump working? This green wire is the ground wire which should be attached to the motor. What is the complete model number of the dishwasher?

Gene.
