I see this is a common problem but wanted to see if there was help/advice for my specific model number. The freezer is working great but the refrigerator is at about room temperature regardless of what I set the cooling level to.

Any advice on what may be causing this problem or how to trouble shoot?

Thank you!

The problem is that something is blocking airflow. Most of time its because the freezer is not defrosting. If this is the problem there will be a thick layer of frost on the back wall of the freezer. If this is the case the defrost heater is most likely bad.

If you do not see a thick layer of frost on the back wall of the freezer check to see if the fan in the freezer is running and if not replace it.

Sometimes the drain will stop up and when this happens on top-freezers the water can get in the air ducks and freeze. This will block airflow and cause your problem. If this is the case hard ice will be under the coils in the freezer and in the air ducks. Remove all the ice and unstop the drain.
