This is a side-by-side - it makes plenty of ice cubes. However, when pressing the ice cube dispenser. the ice cubes don't come through - sometimes one will come out. When I open the freezer door, all the ice cubes fall on the floor - they were stopped at the entry to the dispenser. Help! :mad:

This problem is either the solenoid that pulls the flapper open or sometimes the flap will curl up causing it to jam in this case replace the flapper. Refrigerator repair guide

Thank you for the quick response. Will have to call the repair guy on this one. The solenoid sounds like the logical explanation.
