It is 6 yrs. old and was doing fine but stopped pulling water in the tray, fan runs great and i could not visually see any problems on coils or anywhere.
I think it is something very simple, since 20 sec. after plugging it in and turning on, i do hear a few clicks like it did in the past and the compresor would kick in, but now it doesnt!
I also remember 6 yrs. ago the first new one we bought had the same problem and did not ever pull any water, so we exchanged it and this one was great till now.
What can i check to see why the compr. is not kicking in?
Thank You!

Try a "Hard-Start" kit.
