My ice maker is not filling with water. A cube got stuck and the unit refilled with watter and froze a large chunk of ice. I removed the unit and removed all ice (I have done this before without issue). I reinstalled the icemaker and it rotated around to eject but then the water never filled. I have removed and reinstalled the ice maker again and also unplugged and replugged the fridge itself. It is still not filling with water. The water dispenser works fine. Any ideas?

After reading many threads about possible issues I tried one more thing. I removed the ice maker, let it thaw completely and ran a hair dryer on the water inlet in the freezer for about 15 minutes on high. It does appear that the jam caused water to freeze in the water inlet and prevented water from entering the ice maker. It is now filling and making ice again.
