I have a Kenmore refrigerator only unit that recently stopped cooling. The compressor runs, the fan runs, the defrost circuit seems to operate normally. The evaporator fins however, only frost up where the tubing comes into or leaves the refrigerator. Sorry, not up on technical terms. The fins themselves do not frost up at all. Any ideas on what the problem may be? Any tests that I can run to narrow the problem? The frig is just a little over a month out of warranty. Figures, huh! Any help is appreciated. Thanks

That's a sign of the sealed system being low on freon which would be covered under a five year warranty. You would need a tech to check it and find the leak and recharge. If you're lucky they will give you warranty coverage.
