Control panel is out on my GE oven -- part #WB27X5040. It is N/A since 2003 -- any alternative parts?

it is the electronic control, not the control panel -- you are correct. Any suggestions?

Try doing a search for electronic control remanufacturers. BTW. The control on your model is actually part # WB27 K5040 ~ NOT ~ WB27 X5040 (which is a diode). JMO Dan O. www.Appliance411.com
