Our Bosch DW has been acting up for some time now. It runs for a very long time (seems to be at least 4-5 hours if not more), and the dishes aren't coming out as clean as before. The never seem to dry fully and we seem to be getting "gunk" built-up a bit inside the washer.

Also, the "sanitized" light never comes on.

Reading some threads, it sounds like the Control Board needs to be replaced ? Does anyone have a link to the right part number ? Also, does this model possibly suffer from the soldering issue (I can easily repair that, but don't want to tear it apart to find out that's not the issue).

Thanks in advance...

OK, I took it apart and checked out the board and sure enough, the solder joint was bad. Actually the pin for the relay is completely gone!

So I ordered a new control module and got it installed today (running a load now).

Does anyone know what the specific relay module is and where I can get a replacement ? I'd like to repair the old board just in case it happens again.

Thanks!

I had the Bosch repair guy here. He said he's seen a lot of the PCB going bad. He was going to swap the PCB for a few hundred bucks. Turns out he had the wrong part and I noticed a burnt mark on the PCB. He closed the whole thing and said he would be back in 10 days... That night I opened up the DW to the PCB (Printed Circuit Board) and cleaned the black part (alcohol and fine brushing) added solder and voila. Save $200 save time (10 days) and keep the wife happy.
